Three days later, I went back to the same store and bought the last two they had.one for my son and one for my daughter. For the low price, I kind of expected low quality.
While in K-Mart, I saw that they had the HUE cameras marked down to only $10 so I thought I would give it a try. I am going overseas soon and wanted a webcam to use Skype with my family and friends.
Man, was I impressed with the quality of the sound and video. I purchased one for my PC desktop and one for my PC laptop.
Within minutes of installing th software, I was up and running. Not the case.
You won't be dissapointed with HUE.
For me, its a great product. It has a built in mic so it just helps lessen the clutter around the work area. My old webcam wont work with Vista but Clique work perfectly. Easy to install and use. The goose neck helps you adjust the angles and stuff. And its brighter then the last webcam i had which was a logistic.
Do not order this webcam from amazon. Over $100. This camera can be purchased from K-Mart for $20. I'm sure other stores have them at this price as well.great little webcam but there are much better deals out there.
Works fine in hub. I am sure if you have more than 512 RAM, you should not have any problems. The camera states do not plug into a usb hub, but that is what I use due to lack of ports. You can either plug it directly into your usb port or use the base with the cable for a longer extension. I love this webcam, and have recommended it to all my friends looking for a cheap and easy camera to use. I have not tried it with any other programs since those are the only two I use. I do know it is because of my lack of RAM.I have an entry level laptop. All of the colors work the same :)It has been very reliable, but does tend to freeze for a second when trying to run bigger programs in the background.
Make sure you install software before plugging the camera in for the first time.It also takes great still shots. I love the built in microphone that works with the camera on or off. Also, this camera can be bought for $19.99 at KmartI bought this camera because of the flexible neck that holds the camera. It runs well on both XP and Vista. I have bought several webcams under 20 dollars and this one is better than the rest. This camera comes in many different colors, and I noticed that the reviews for each color vary in stars. It has a very easy control panel to record videos and edit.Works great with skype and AIM. Also works as a cheap surveillance cam with children's computers.Happy webcamming.
I lent it to several people who had MAC's and it worked only one day. I bought this for it's looks and the reviews I'd read. It is really a good looking cam but it only worked for one day on my MAC. I do not know if it works with a PC, maybe I got a bum cam. I would recommend it for it's looks but MAC users BEWARE.
